Audax Renovables has reconfigured and strengthened its Board of Directors by approving, with a unanimous vote, the appointment of two women. Anabel L\u00f3pez Porta and Rosa Gonz\u00e1lez Sans will join the company's highest governing body for the next four years.<\/p>\n
The entry of the two managers represents a further confirmation of Audax Renovables' commitment to ever-improving governance.<\/p>\n
Anabel L\u00f3pez, a Law graduate from the University of Barcelona and PDG from IESE Business School, has been working in the renewable energy and capital markets sector for over 15 years; she is currently responsible for the renewable generation portfolio of Audax Renovables. In addition, L\u00f3pez is already on the boards of other companies controlled by the Group.<\/p>\n
In 2015, he took over the general management of Audax Renovables, personally managing the entire operation that led to the takeover bid and subsequent merger with Audax Energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n
Rosa Gonz\u00e1lez works in the field energy<\/em> \u2013 especially marketing \u2013 for over a decade. A founding partner of Mediaworks SA, a communications agency and media center, she joined Audax at its inception.<\/p>\n Having held numerous positions of responsibility in different areas of expertise of the Group, from finance to human resources, she has had the opportunity to develop a transversal vision of the activities. She has also participated in several expansion operations in foreign markets, holding the role of Country Manager of the Italian branch until 2018. Rosa Gonz\u00e1lez is also a member of other Boards of Directors of companies gravitating around the Audax Group.<\/p>\n The entry of the two managers brings the female presence on the Board of Directors to 33%, thus exceeding the 30% objective established for the 2020 financial year and approaching that of 40% set for 2022 by the C\u00f3digo de Buen Gobierno (Code of Ethics).<\/p>\n Furthermore, the composition of the Board of Directors demonstrates the commitment to follow the recommendations of the Code of Good Government for listed companies as published by the Spanish National Securities Market Commission in relation to respect for gender diversity and the independence of board members.<\/p>\n The appointments of the new directors also entail changes in the various board committees as Anabel L\u00f3pez also joins the Control Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.<\/p>\n Jos\u00e9 El\u00edas, Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated that "the arrival of Rosa Gonz\u00e1lez and Anabel L\u00f3pez, bringing new knowledge, skills and experience, will positively influence the effectiveness and quality of the Board of Directors' decisions".<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" AUDAX RENOVABLES.
